Commemoration of the 51st anniversary of the disappearance of La Minerva

The commemoration of the  51st anniversary of the disappearance of the Minerve took place on Sunday January 27, 2019.

Mrs. Thérèse Scheirmann-Descamps laid a wreath on behalf of the families.

The expectation of the Minister's decision regarding a resumption of search operations for the wreck of the Minerve was the subject of many discussions. Optimism prevailed.

This day was bereaved  by the sudden death of Admiral Marc Faugère who, in 1968, had participated in the Minerve search operations.
